Working Out Indoors

Regular physical activity not only helps keep your body healthy, it also offers a lot of benefits for your mind, your mood and your overall well-being! Many scientific studies have linked exercise with improved mental health. This is especially important during the winter, when you are more likely to be indoors and moving less.

Here are some ways to get moving during the winter:

Work out indoors. If you don’t know where to start, there are a lot of great workout videos online that you can follow along with! Here are some examples to get started.

The examples below do not require any equipment, but another option would be to buy a basic set of weights or a yoga mat to use at home.
