Newcomers enrich our city with diverse skills and perspectives, but the transition to a new life in Canada can be overwhelming. From learning a new language and finding employment to navigating unfamiliar systems and cultural norms, the journey can be overwhelming.
The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) invites Calgarians to an inspiring challenge: the TIES Climb for New Beginnings on October 5th. Ascend the Calgary Tower and make a meaningful impact in the lives of newcomers and Canadians in need.
By climbing the iconic Calgary Tower's 802 steps, you'll be raising funds for vital TIES programs that equip newcomers with the skills and resources they need to thrive in our vibrant city.
Together, let's build a stronger, more inclusive Calgary for everyone.
It's easy to join the climb! Take the challenge by forming a team, joining as an individual, or making a donation through CanadaHelps. Early Bird Registration fee is $25 per person (Tower Fees).*
We are grateful for the support of our event sponsors: ENMAX, Charlesglen Toyota, CTV (our Media Sponsor), and Monster Mini Golf (In-kind).
