The Integrated Women’s Entrepreneurship Project (IWEP) is a free 9-week online program offered by TIES to diverse and traditionally underserved women entrepreneurs in Alberta to start, establish, or grow a business.
Is IWEP right for you? This program is designed for women entrepreneurs who have a strong business idea in place or are actively operating an existing business. If you are ready to commit to the 9-week training program, IWEP can help you refine your concept to start a business or take your business to the next level.
Program Benefits
· Strengthen entrepreneurship skills and capacity to start and grow your business ventures
· Receive 1on1 support to break through roadblocks on your entrepreneurial journey
· Increase knowledge of financing options, Canadian business culture, and legal considerations regarding business set-up

Week 5 – Financial Analysis/Formalizing Your Business: Legal Aspects, Startup Costs, Investments, and Cash Flow
Week 6 – Financial Analysis/Business Model: Accounting, Taxes, and Intro to Business Model Canvas
Week 7 – Individual Support 1on1
Week 8 – Advanced Marketing: Marketing Session, Marketing Lab, and Pitch
Week 9 – Finalizing Business Model & Next Steps: Complete Business Model, Networking and Resources

Program Schedule
9-week online training
· Group classes: 18 sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 9 am to noon
· Individual sessions: three 30-minute meetings, scheduled based on the availability of both the facilitator and you.
· Mentoring sessions: two 1 hour sessions, scheduled according to the availability of the mentor and yours
