What is the Enhancing Youth Possibilities Program?

EYP is a fast-track program. Participants receive 2 weeks of online employment training, followed by 80 hours of paid practicum ($18 per hour).

During paid practicum, EYP students are eligible for a FREE monthly bus pass and funds towards childcare services from a licensed facility while they are participating in the practicum.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

Between 18 and 29 years of age
CLB 5 or higher
Only Conventional Refugees are eligible – you must have received your decision to stay.
Refugee Claimants are NOT eligible – as you are not yet approved to stay in Canada.

Employment Training (23 hours)

Monday - Thursday: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Paid Practicum (80 hours)‍

Depends on Employer’s working hours.
Your practicum schedule is decided between you and the organization where you receive job placement
